Donation of a folder of art graphics on purpose
The Society member Mr. Maurizio Boiani donated to AIE a folder of art graphics printed in 2002, published by Laboratorio di Sperimentazioni Grafiche M. Leoni and D. Whitman in Bologna. There are 12 calcographies by 6 artista: Mauro Bagnoli, Maurizio Boiani, Manuela Candini, Mari Monesi, Stefano Ragazzi, Silvio Vacchi. The purpose of the folder is to lay out the creation of a label for quality wines. The theme is a Bolognese say, "How I give you to drink". Each participating artist tried the theme with two works. The folder has a foreword by Ferruccio Fava, art and graphics promoter in Bologna. He says as each print is unique yet it is the same as another from the same print run, so a wine of the same year and same place tastes the same even if it comes from a different bottle.
The donation comes at an appropriate time, since this number of the bullettin is mainly devoted to graphics on purpose.
