A new feature
Donations of ex libris, free and on purpose graphics
by Giancarlo Nicoli
Artifex always looks for new works to publish on its website.
Artists
We look for artists that work with those techniques (both traditional and new or mixed) that allow a finite number or reproductions.
All the graphics we receive as gift will be mentioned. Those graphics we determine the most interesting will also be reproduced - please allow for the website schedule time constraints.
Artifex asks the Artist to point out, in
a readable fashion:
1 – name and surname of the artist
2 – name and surname of the ex libris holder
3 – year of production
4 – technique used
5 – print run
6 – area of the printed surface, expressed
in millimeters
7 – opus list reference number
Artifex would gladly have a short profile of
the artist, both in English and in Italian.
The list of the works, although not required, is welcome.
Profiles will be shown in this new feature.
All the graphics sent in will be kept in our archives
and will NOT be sold.
Artifex reserves the right to use them in institutional
occasions that might involve Artifex, for example exhibitions,
fairs, articles on newspapers or periodicals, and so on.
Those artists, who wish to disseminate their woks, are encouraged
to submit a print run.
Artifex is interested in giving free graphics to its clients - actual
or in the making - either through mailings, or during exhibitions
and happenings that are in relation with graphics and luxury publishing,
or in any other meaning.
Before sending a print run, we ask artists to get
in touch with Artifex.
Collectors
Those collectors, who would like to donate ex libris, free or on purpose graphics, are asked to point out, in a readable fashion:

by the owner
3 – name and surname of the ex libris holder
4 – year of production
5 – technique used
6 – print run
7 – area of the printed surface, expressed
in millimeters
8 – opus list reference number
