Part 3 - Special Prize

At the and of the session, seen the regulations of the Prize which
it provides that: “The prize-awarding committee will also
attribute another prize with no special conditions, called the “Remo
Palmirani special Prize” to honour artists, collectors, researchers
and scholars who have had many years’ activity in developing
and promoting knowledge of ex libris, Cristiano Beccaletto invites
the committee of the Prize, present as members of the Jury, to verify
if is possible to express one or more names to award. After a short
analysis, the “Special Prize Remo Palmirani” is attributed
to:
Remo Wolf – Italy. Gold medal and diploma for the long life
dedicated to the art, the xylography and to ex libris where it has
been and he is precious master and example of life.
Egisto Bragaglia – Italy. Gold medal and diploma for the tireless
pluriennal engagement in the study field and the historical search,
finalized to advantage the ex libris in its truer and traditional
aspect.

The committee, in relation to the assigned Prize to Egisto Bragaglia, wish to join in the acknowledgment also the wife of the specialist, its untiring collaborator, Mrs. Teresa Grossi.
To 08:15 pm the Jury stops the works and underwrites.
