Exlibris exhibition in Doetinchem, The Netherlands - International exchange meeting

From November 15, 2003, till January 4, 2004, an exlibris exhibition will be held in the Town Museum, Grutstraat 27, Doetinchem, The Netherlands.
This exhibition will show highlights from the collection of Henk Weltje which comprises about 30.000 bookplates.
The purpose of the exhibition is to introduce people to the richness of exlibris as an expression of graphic art, an international collector's item, a booklovers phenomenon and a fascinating exponent of cultural history. The admission fee is 1,50 euro.

Within the ambiance of this exhibition an international exchange meeting of bookplate collectors will take place in the museum on Saturday, December 13, 2003, from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m.

Doetinchem is situated in the Dutch province of Gelderland, about 30 kilometers east of its capital Arnhem and about 15 kilometers from the German border.
