From left to right: Vittorio Sozzi (P.E.N. secretary), Ferdinando Camon (President), Lucio Lami (Vicepresident and organizer of the Prize), Federica Mormando (member of the Executive Committee), Francesco Vincenzo (official), Luciano Luisi (anchor-man).

Ferdinando Camon addresses the guests.

Luciano Luisi interviews the authors, during the vote-counting. Here he is with Corrado Augias
("I segreti di New York" - "Secrets of New York").

Luciano Luisi and Marco Beck, who intoduced his poetry book("Il pane sulle acque" - "Bread on the waters").

Giuseppe Pontiggia ("Nati due volte" - "Born twice") tells the tale of his book, which is also the book that won.

Sergio Zavoli, with his customary aplomb, introduced "Se Dio c'è" ("If God exists").

Mr. Giuseppe Fedrigoni, entrepreneur, presents the prize, dedicated to the memory of his father Gianfranco, destined to prestige books (this year's winner is "Su Munari. 104 testimonianze + 152 inediti di Bruno Munari" - "On Munari. 104 testimonies + 152 unpublished works by Bruno Munari").

The Fedrigoni prize, here reported with the last picture, occurs around 15 minutes before the P.E.N. prize.

Rosetta Loy ("Ahi, Paloma") was among the selected five writers. She did not attend the Prize ceremony, due to an indisposition.
