"Block Notes" is free: everyone with an Internet access can read it. It is not intended to be for sale, it has no regular edition. All what's on "Block Notes" is copyright by Artifex and by the contributors that make it possible. Regarding the Italian Law n° 62/01, this site is not under obligation to be on the press autority registry, because its updates are not on a regular basis. Dear reader,

this is the first time "Block Notes" appears on the English side of the Artifex site. I started the Italian version around a month ago, publishing reviews of Italian books, or of books in Italian. It is almost impossible to translate directly that content from the Italian language to the English one, and it is almost impossible to adapt it as well: this is why the English version was not available.
The English and the Italian version will not be one the translation of the other: think of the books that are available only in one of these language, for instance.
All the other material, on the other hand, will be available in both languages.
I approached a few, well-known, collectors and artists,  asking them to contribute to "Block Notes".
I also sent emails here and there asking to be kept in pace with news regarding exibits, lectures, competitions in the Ex Libris world.
I hope that this bulletin will grow - step by step -, and that you'll find it informative and accountable.
